mm i remember 2 betrayals so far but they may be more.. first one is his fiance in the beginning and the uncle of the girl a few episodes back. im pretty sure he will be betrayed allot more in the future and i hope he will prevail despite that and remain himself. he is a goody MC but he kills when he needs to ..i like that about him allot

Yea the same people from the God temple he was risking his life for betrayed him and his sister making accusations that him, and his sister was working with the demons cause he came back from fighting with the devil women with hardly a scratch on him, and his sister got demon bloodline in her which cause her great pain cause she couldn't control it. So they tried to arrest them or bring them to the temple which he knew they would kill his sister for having the demon bloodline in her.

See that's the kind of people I despise the most always feel they need to take matters into their own hands, and thinking their in the right to what's the truth without questioning, or having the evidence to prove if its in fact true or not, but pursue this man and his sister cause they so believe they are in fact working with the demons. However now seeing the truth with their own eyes everything is just ok and they leave now after putting this man and his sister through absolute hell pursuing them like that. SMH

Yeah, basically be the MC from 100.000 Years of Refining Qi where he would just take an entire sect's worth of treasure as an apology.

It took a security footage and of course, mostly the sheer OP-ness of the Ancestor to finally convince those ignorant fools to turn back and abandon their real mission of stealing the water of life from MC.
